Steps to become a Volunteer:

1. Sign up for our Mandatory Orientation (see available dates below)
2. Fill out an official volunteer application (this will be sent to you after you sign up for orientation)
3. Attend the Orientation Session (at the Sanctuary, 35 Lewis Rd Akron)
4. Read & Sign our Volunteer Handbook
5. Sign up for your first shift
6. Train under an experienced volunteer

Groups are also welcome for single day volunteering trips – perfect for scout troops, youth organizations, community service experience, or corporate team-building events! Contact us to make group arrangements.
