White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary
A 501(c3) nonprofit, a senior dog rescue and sanctuary located in Akron, NY, just 40 minutes northeast of Buffalo.
Our mission is to ensure the well-being of senior dogs by providing loving adoptions, a caring and compassionate option to live out their years, and companionship for humans who will benefit from the special love that only dogs can provide.
We believe senior dogs deserve more than a place to stay. They deserve to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and valued, no matter what their past may have been.
Our kennel-free Sanctuary provides a peaceful, home-like environment where senior dogs can relax and enjoy their golden years surrounded by love and care.
We also believe in the power of community. We work with individuals, shelters, and rescue partners throughout Western New York to help senior dogs find the loving homes and second chances they deserve.
