Mission & Vision

Until we find loving homes for the senior dogs in our care, White Whiskers will provide up to 25 senior dogs with a home-like setting in which to live where they can interact with other
dogs and humans as well. It will not just be a haven for these older dogs, but one that will benefit people through interactions with them. We will target specific groups that will benefit from these interactions – children, seniors, veterans, those who are disabled, etc. – and provide a cultural element to the sanctuary involving educational programs, music, and art. White Whiskers will be a haven in every sense of the word: a harbor for older dogs to be with each other; a place of safety for people of all ages to engage with the dogs; a refuge both for senior dogs and the people who love them.
